True story....I didn't train this year as hard as I did in previous years. Making an album was super time consuming. Most weeks I did three strength sessions per week as opposed to 4. My walking and mobility work was still regular.
In terms of diet, there isn't much to mention. I did as I always do... a slightly protein driven balanced diet with intermittent fasting on board. On training days I eat when and what I want and on non training days, I skip a meal or three.
End result is I am healthy and pretty fit. All in all, my joints have held up well. While I have been leaner or bigger at certain stages, I feel great physically and mentally.
The take home message is important. If you lay a solid foundation, it doesn't take that much to maintain a reasonably decent physique.

This is what success and determination looks like. I am really proud of my friend Amy Lavery. She has lost 10.5 kilos, 3 inches off her waist while becoming very strong. No magic pills here. Just consistency and hard work which of course trumps everything.
