Ripper day down here in Cobden for the Viccy Titles, karts fast, bring on tomorrow! 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Well when we initially decided to venture to Geelong for the AASA Victorian State title meeting, I don’t think we ever expected to be leaving on Sunday so agonisingly close to winning a blue plate.

Wet qualifying - P1 (.5 Sec margin)
Heat 1 - P1
Pre Final - P1
Final - P2

Still great to finish on the podium, lots of positives to take away from the whole weekend, but to lead the whole race and come across the line side by side to finish 2nd by .08 of a sec, that one definitely stings a bit.

Regardless of that, overall it was a very fun weekend with a great crew, massive thanks to Dad who was on double duties this weekend with me in TaG and Chadd in KZ2, (with both of us finishing on the podium!) young Eddy did a great job in rookies, and to be racing and pitting with one of my best mates Paul Rodgers was awesome.

Bring on the KA Victorian Closed State Title in a few weeks!

A very encouraging but up and down weekend at the Golden Power Series in Albury!
From passing 3 karts in 1 corner, to getting speared off the track twice in one race.

Overall it was a fun weekend, the kart was a wonder to drive and it was pretty fun battling with most of the guys in the TAG heavy field, just unfortunate that my final result didn’t reflect the pace we had.

Massive thanks to dad for spinning the spanners all weekend, the kart was seriously on rails!
Tam, Mum and my girls for always being there to support me, and the Country Kart Spares crew for a fun weekend in the big tent, onto the next one 🤙🏼
