Sinclair Wilson

Yesterday, Sinclair Wilson had the privilege of welcoming a group of Year 9 students from Brauer College as part of the Brauer Trades Taster Program, coordinated by South West TAFE with support from the Neil Porter Legacy.

The students spent time with Jeremy, Alex, Adam and Kirsty learning about the diverse career opportunities available in financial services, accounting, wealth management and stockbroking. They also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the office and the chance to ask questions about study pathways, career journeys and life in the industry.

One of the strongest messages shared today was:
"Don't be afraid to fail. Some of life's biggest lessons come from setbacks, and every experience helps shape your future."

Students also heard the importance of finding work you genuinely enjoy. Careers are long journeys, and there are always opportunities to learn, grow and change direction along the way.

A big thank you to the students and teachers from Brauer College for visiting us today. We hope the experience provided valuable insight into the many pathways available after school.

Sinclair Wilson were pleased to attend the 2026 Limestone Jobs, Skills & Careers Expo yesterday in Mount Gambier, where they had the opportunity to connect with students, job seekers, and members of the local community. The expo provided a valuable platform to engage students and members of the community regarding their career pathway in accounting, business, and professional services.

From 1 July 2026, employers must pay superannuation with each pay cycle under Payday Super rules. Although this is a major change, planning ahead can make the transition smooth. Sinclair Wilson offers support with reviewing payroll processes, updating software, managing cash flow impacts, and ensuring compliance.
