Black Ink Framing

Dear Customers, Quick update on Black Ink Framing.

The new studio/workshop is nearly up and running. I am able to do canvas stretching and float frames, however not able to cut glass just yet. I am having some structural works done to accommodate the glass/matboard cutter next month so hopefully will be ready to go then.

In another issue, can I ask that you do a quick check on the hanger cord of any framings I have done for you. Please check if it is showing signs of wear or breaking. I have had 3 customers where the cord has likely snapped causing the frame to fall off the wall. I’m fairly certain it is a faulty batch of nylon cord. If it appears to be an issue with your framing, please replace it or bring it to me and I will do it while you wait.

To all my Customers and Friends.
We have sold our house in Warrandyte and will be taking a temporary pause from framing, until we have settled in a new home. We plan to remain in the area and as soon as I have set up the new studio, I will recommence framing. I will still be taking work up until the end of July 2024 so if you have anything urgent to be framed, get in before I close.
I will of course keep you informed of how things go and when I expect to start up again.
