Pictured: Michelle Worth, jumping for joy after achieving her Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and Project Management Practice qualifications.
Not pictured: the years of hard work, experience, and resilience that got her there. After leaving school in Year 10, Michelle entered the Australian workforce and built her career through real-world experience. As she puts it: “I never went to Uni or TAFE, I went to work instead.”
Michelle’s story reflects the reality for many women across Australia who have spent years building valuable industry experience, yet can face barriers to career progression because they don’t hold formal qualifications.
With her new qualifications, Michelle secured a new role as a Graduate Work Health & Safety Officer proving that experience, when recognised properly, can open new doors.

Behind every qualification we help deliver is a team of remarkable women who genuinely care about the people they support.
At Churchill Education, the women on our team bring strength, empathy, and passion into everything they do not just for our clients, but for each other.
That culture of support is what allows us to guide people through one of the most meaningful moments of their career, having their experience recognised.
Today we celebrate the women who make that possible.
Happy International Women’s Day.
