**Hazard Reduction Burn notification**
Crews are commencing another HRB at 174 Welches Rd Wongawallan. Another 2 piles to be burnt and should only be minimal smoke caused in the immediate area.

**Hazard Reduction Burn**
Crews are on site at 54 Welches Rd Wongawallan to conduct a HRB on two piles of vegetation. There should only be minimal smoke in the area and with slight wind conditions, the smoke shouldn't stay down in the valley for to long.
Great work by the landholder in reducing the risk around their home and thanks to our crews for assisting with the burn.
In only 5 weeks our annual community Open Day will be held on Sunday 26th of July. This is our opportunity to invite the members of our community to come and visit our station and meet many volunteers and other Emergency Services from across the area.
Last year was an amazing day and we revealed our brand-new Light Attack appliance, Coomera Valley 41, to the community. This was a special day for our members to receive this new appliance from the Chief Officer and we have been utilizing this vehicle for incident responses, Hazard Reduction Burns and of course continual training.
We can't wait to see our at the Open Day and if you missed it last year, here is a quick snap-shot of the amazing morning in 2025. Keep watching our page for more updates on what will be happening on the day. It's going to be amazing!!
