Versatile Civil Works

Picked up the new machine today! 🌻

After almost 10 years of running Bobcat excavators, we decided it was time to try something different.

Last year Brett and I went to the Perth Tradie Expo and fell for this excavator, so we kept our eye on it while we saved the 20% deposit.

We recently took advantage of the WesTrac 1.49% finance offer and added our very first CAT excavator to the Versatile Civil Works fleet.

Bobcats have served us well and we still have two in the fleet, but we’re excited to see how the CAT 301.8 performs. It also comes with an enclosed cab with air-con and heating, which will make those long days on site a bit more comfortable.

Not going to lie though — I do like the look of a Bobcat, so I’m not sure how I’ll feel about the bright yellow… maybe all it needs is a sunflower sticker. 🌻

It’s currently on its way over and going through the workshop, so we should have it on site in the next week or two.
