WET WEATHER NOTICE – LONGREACH WASTE FACILITY 🌧️

Following rainfall overnight, the Longreach Waste Facility is experiencing wet and slippery conditions.

To make things easier for our customers, skip bins for General Waste and Scrap Metal have been placed next to the shed in front of the office. This means you can dispose of these materials without needing to drive through the wetter areas of the facility.

All Green Waste is to be placed in the designated wet weather area off to the side, as directed by staff.

If your visit isn't urgent, we encourage you to wait until conditions improve where possible. This helps protect the site, reduces the risk of vehicles becoming bogged, and keeps everyone safe.

If you do need to visit the facility, please remember to:
• Drive to the conditions
• Follow all staff directions and site signage
• Dispose of Green Waste in the designated wet weather area
• Take extra care when entering and exiting the site
• Be aware that access to some areas may be restricted if conditions worsen
