😮 What To Do If Someone is Choking 😮

1️⃣ Encourage them to cough strongly.
2️⃣ If not clearing, give 5 back blows (between shoulder blades).
3️⃣ Still choking? Perform 5 abdominal thrusts.
4️⃣ Repeat back blows & thrusts until clear or help arrives.
5️⃣ If they lose consciousness, start CPR immediately.

👉 Security Crowd Controllers – must complete their triennial refresher training every 3 years to keep their licence valid. This ensures you stay up to date with current laws, conflict management skills, and safe control techniques.

👉 First Aid (HLTAID011) – Workplaces and governing bodies require refreshers to keep your life-saving knowledge and skills sharp. While the certification is valid for 3 years, CPR should be refreshed every 12 months.
