Australia International Wine Challenge

RESULTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED for the 1st Australia International Wine Challenge 2019 !!
A total of over 350 wines from 8 different countries were entered and judged by a panel of leading wine professionals from Australia and internationally.

8 Trophy medals were awarded including Best of Show, 9 Best Value medals, 1 Platinum medal, 17 Gold medals, 52 Silver medals and 130 Bronze medals.

* The Australia International Wine Challenge used a 20 point scale to allocate Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

Wines that receive 19.0, 19.5 or 20.0 receive a Platinum Medal
Wines that receive 18.5 are awarded a Gold Medal
Wines that receive 17.0, 17.5 or 18.0 are awarded a Silver Medal
Wines that receive 15.5,16.0 or 16.5 are awarded a Bronze Medal
Trophy winning wines are chosen after re-tasting the Platinum Gold Medal and Gold Medal wines.
