Defined by sculptural precision, the MEGURO lounge chair – with its flawless timber grain and all-angle profile designed by Naoto Fukazawa – reinterprets classic seating with uncompromising permanence and a definitive attitude.

Fukazawa conceived the piece not to complement an interior, but to dictate it. It behaves as a central axis, an object whose distinct identity automatically determines the surrounding rugs, textures, and lighting. Considered deeply from every perspective, the rear profile is as meticulously refined as the front, showcasing a level of manufacturing perfection intended for a lifetime rather than a passing decade.

Handmade in Italy by designer Gianfranco Coltella, ‘Infinity Rain’ utilises hundreds of individually worked glass elements to occupy the monumental concrete void beside this staircase. It is less about lighting a functional path than it is about defining the architectural space with a permanent, sculptural form.

Monday night inspiration. If you’re going to design and build the official 2026 HIA National House of the Year, your rooftop furniture needs to hold its own against a glass-walled pool and the Pacific Ocean.

For “Cloudbreak”—conceptualised by Jayson Pate Design and built to perfection by Mactech Constructions—anything standard was never an option on the rooftop terrace.

Enter the Crosini L’onda armchair and ottoman, sitting seamlessly on the green crazy pave. Constructed from menta Terrazzo, it looks less like a lounge chair and more like a permanent sculpture. It stands completely unfazed by the elements, catching the midday sun before settling into the evening glow beside the firepit.
