This NAIDOC Week (5-12 July), we're proud to celebrate 50 years of culture, community and resilience. This year's theme, 50 Years of Deadly, marks a milestone for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia.

The name "Barayip" in our own neighbourhood comes from the Wadawurrung language, meaning meeting place. A fitting reminder of the deep connection to Country that exists right here in Tarneit.
