KEM First Nations Immersion π€πβ€οΈ
During Term 2, three Social Justice Leaders and two staff members from Killester College attended the Kildare Ministries First Nations Immersion, hosted by Clonard College on Wathaurong Country πΏ
As part of the immersion, Killester students joined representatives from Kildare Ministries schools across Australia, with First Nations students and students from many cultures and backgrounds coming together in a spirit of connection, listening and learning π€β¨
Throughout the programme, students and staff participated in the ancient tradition of yarning around a campfire, visited the Booln Booln Cultural Centre and engaged in First Nations art workshops π¨π₯
This experience provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen understanding, strengthen relationships and continue our commitment to justice, respect and reconciliation.
