It was a perfect day on the green at the North Queensland Master Builders BUSSQ Golf Day last month at Rowes Bay Golf Club.

Tabrizi Home Builders won the Queensland Individual Home from $4 million up to $5 million Award for Chateau Cache in Brisbane at the Housing & Construction Awards in October.

The home is a unique, striking, family residence built over several years with COVID-19 and natural disasters thrown in for good measure.

The client's design brief brought in their life's experiences - travelling and living in Europe and the Middle-East, with their eventual design choices seeing various items sourced internationally - cabinetry, light fixtures and fittings, and tiles.

An ongoing challenge was the home's strategic orientation on the block, which is at the end of an incredibly long private enclave, with the driveway being poured towards the latter end of the build.

The Tabrizi building team has produced an attractive, gargantuan family home, rich in living areas, voids, intricate detail and 'warmth' - the latter not an easy feat for a home of this size.

Standout spaces include the foyer, double staircase, piano landing, dedicated master bathroom, living room with coffered ceiling, and an outdoor kitchen overlooking the perfectly-positioned swimming pool.
