You have more than likely seen the recent news about Payday Super. These changes will come into effect from 1 July 2026, and employers should begin preparing now.

Some of the key changes include:
• Superannuation contributions must be paid within 7 business days of each payday. To meet this requirement, super payments should be processed on the same day that wages are paid.
• Changes to late payment reporting requirements and penalties.
• The definition of earnings will change with the introduction of Qualifying Earnings (QE), replacing Ordinary Time Earnings (OTE). This broadens the base used to calculate Superannuation Guarantee Contributions (SGC). For example, SGC will be payable on all commissions.

As we wrap up another wonderful year, our office will be closed from Friday, 19 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026.

Friday night was all about new beginnings - welcoming Kamesh, our new office, and the exciting times ahead! Dinner and drinks were followed by a successful escape from the Hotel Murder Mystery escape room. That’s two escapes in a row now… Thanks for another memorable experience!

Long time, no post!

We’ve been head down fitting out our new office at the Richardson Centre - just a few blocks away from our current office with beautiful river and park views. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new nest in September.

In the meantime, it’s a bit of a juggle! We’ll be working from home for a couple of weeks with no in-person meetings. Mike and Kelly are off on a well-earned holiday in mid-August (back late August), and with Jules off to the commercial world, we’re also busy hiring and reshuffling the team.

For those who have visited our office, you may remember meeting our beloved office dog (and Mike & Kelly’s much-loved furbaby), Miss Chloe. It’s with heavy hearts that we share that we recently and unexpectedly said goodbye to Chloe. She was such a special part of our lives and the soul of our little office family.

While no other furbaby could ever take Chloe's place, we’re now welcoming a new little team member — baby Bee — who’s already bringing her own brand of light and mischief into our days.

Bear with us while we navigate this crazy (but also exciting!) period. Big things are coming; we can’t wait to show you around soon!
