Southcare’s emergency relief service is now open four days a week and I’m delighted to help them help more people. Right now, families are making tough choices, between food, rent, and keeping the lights on. This funding means real help, when it matters most — food vouchers, help with bills, and support to stay in their homes. Because everyone deserves the basics — food, shelter, and safety. I had the pleasure to attend Swancon 50 on the weekend. It was great to see how many fans of sci-fi, pop culture and speculative fiction come together to celebrate the organisation's 50th year. Thank you to the hardworking staff at the Pagoda Resort & Spa for hosting us over three days. And the cake looked delicious too!

Just 4 more days before the window to apply for the WA Seniors Cost of Living Rebate expires. Don't miss your opportunity!
We've received several calls from constituents having issues making their applications.
Make sure before you start your application, that your six-digit Seniors card number is readable. This is key to having your application go through successfully.
If you're unable to read your card number, give the WA Seniors Card Centre a call on 1800 671 233.
Their staff will be able to walk you through the process of getting a new card and apply for the rebate at the same time.

Friendly Reminder!
This Friday 29th May is Reconciliation Week Community Walk with Traditional Owner Joe Collard. Starting from Mindeerup and heading towards the Old Mill, the walk will include shared stories about local culture and heritage along the way.
