Yeah… we cut the back out of a microwave.

Because sometimes the best content ideas start with a sentence that makes absolutely no sense.

I’m incredibly lucky to have a husband who never questions these ridiculous ideas (well… not too much), and clients who are willing to trust the process when we pitch something a little left of field.

Not every idea will go viral.
Not every concept will be a winner.

But if you only ever create what’s safe, you’ll end up looking like everyone else.

The best ideas come from experimenting. Some fail. Some surprise you. Every single one teaches you something.

Creativity isn’t about getting it right every time. It’s about having the courage to try something different.

Now… stay tuned to see why we needed a microwave with the back cut out. 👀

The most meaningful form of feedback I’ve recently received wasnt a Google review.

It wasn’t a polished testimonial.
It wasn’t a case study.
It was a client casually telling me during a catch-up call:

“We were absolutely slammed for Mother’s Day.”

But what stood out even more wasn’t the increase in bookings.

It was hearing how much less involved she had to be in the day-to-day operations of the business.

Because at the end of the day, most business owners don’t start a business because they want to spend every waking hour answering messages, taking bookings, fixing problems and putting out fires.

They start a business because they’re passionate about what they do.

Our role isn’t just to create content.

It’s to help clients build campaigns that people actually respond to.

To help create offers worth talking about.

To help make sure that when customers are ready to buy, the systems are there to capture the enquiry, booking or sale.

The content helped create demand.

The campaign gave people a reason to act.

The booking system made it easier for customers to say yes.

And the result was a business owner who got a little bit of her time back.

For me, that’s the real win.

If you’re planning a Father’s Day campaign, seasonal promotion, product launch or simply feel like you’re posting content without seeing real business results, we’d love to help.

Sometimes it’s not about creating more content.

Sometimes it’s about creating the right offer, the right campaign and the right customer journey behind it.

I’m in awe of Pauline Hanson.

And before anyone jumps in… this isn’t about politics.

It’s about resilience.

For 20–30 years, she copped criticism, ridicule, backlash, headlines, public opinion shifts… yet she just kept showing up. Kept building. Kept backing herself. Head down. Eyes on the long game.

Now suddenly, people feel threatened by her staying power.

There’s a lesson in that.

Because honestly? Business is hard right now.

People aren’t spending like they used to.
And even when they are, most of their money is going towards petrol, electricity, groceries, mortgages, taxes… and somehow another bill every second week.

A lot of good businesses are tired.
A lot of good people are questioning themselves quietly behind the scenes.

But maybe this is the season where you stop obsessing over what everyone else is posting, what everyone else is achieving, what everyone else is pretending to be online…

…and you just keep chipping away at your own thing.

Slowly. Quietly. Consistently.

Because longevity has a funny way of silencing noise.

And sometimes the people everyone doubted the most… are the ones still standing decades later.
