Second Chances

Incase anyone was wondering where I have been lately, seeing as I dropped off the face of the earth and have been falling behind with commissions 😬
We have been living the renovation nightmare!
My partner and I brought a gutted house, thinking we could whack some paint on it, throw in a floor and have it liveable within two weeks. Turns out renovations don’t actually work like that, and every single task I think I can knock over in an afternoon, turns into a four day long sleepless stress filled nightmare.
Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong. So we are currently living in the lounge room (the only room with a floor after 6 weeks), with no heating, no kitchen and no hot water 🙃
Hopefully in the next few weeks we will get the house looking and feeling a little more homely. But until then, I appreciate y’all’s patience while I’m up at 2am every night painting the walk in wardrobes instead of your family portraits 😅
I sure will be glad to get back on the iPad because my body is definitely feeling the Reno’s 😂
