If someone in your family needs a tooth extraction for any reason, this simple herbal salt remedy will help a rapid and clean healing process.

Remove the petals from two or three Calendula flowers and gently simmer them in two cups of water for about 25 minutes.
The water will go a slight golden colour, strain the petals and set the golden water aside.
Then add to the water 1 heaped teaspoon of Celtic or Himalayan Salt and stir to dissolve.

Wait at least 12 hours after the extraction before gently rinsing your mouth with the herbal salt water.

Do this at least three times a day over the next three to five days.

This herbal salt remedy can be used to cleanse any minor wound or scrape in a refreshing way to help prevent infection and allow a naturally rapid healing process.

Using simple herbal home remedies saves a trip down the street and means health professionals can get on with more challenging problems.

We will use this time to complete some projects at home, spend time in meditation, breathe work, yogic practices and as always gardening and cooking.
