The Bridge is one of the most important foundational Reformer exercises, that looks straightforward but delivers so many benefits.
It strengthens your glutes, hamstrings and deep core while improving stability, control and spinal movement.
Focus on peeling your spine off the carriage one vertebra at a time, keeping your ribs soft, hips level and your core switched on.
(Avoid over arching your lower back and rib flare)
Then lower with just as much control, placing each vertebra back onto the carriage until you reach your tailbone.
Slow, controlled movement is where the magic happens.
