The Falcon performed flawlessly throughout the journey, a real testament to Australian manufacturing of yesteryears.🛻

We went to places I would have never usually have gone before, but I’m glad we did see this great country in the way we have! 🇦🇺

Buddy group #5, a great bunch of people from literally all corners of the country. Thank you for an amazing experience. Nothing was a hassle from day 1. 🤝

The Bandit mobile arrived to the motherland this afternoon unscathed, apart from a slight mishap with a window this morning 😬 if anyone has a drivers side window to suit and XG Falcon… reach out!

If anyone has ever wanted to do a Sh*tbox Rally - just do it. Best experience ever! You will not regret it.

Day 7 wrap up!

Left Nindigully and headed for the finish line at the Gold Coast. Not much time to stop and sightsee today as we were pressed for time, however did catch some more silo art on the run, some range crossing pictures and followed a massive storm!

Crossed the finish line at 5:11pm to wrap what has been an epic adventure on the road.

Buddy Group 5 made it!

Day 6 trekkings!

Left Bourke for Nindigully. Through magnificent agriculture country and back to the homeland of QLD, first schooner was Hebel pub, then through the back blocks past Cubbie Station to Dirranbandi, another schooner, then onto Thallon to check out the amazing silo art and the giant Wombat!

Quick drive onto tonight’s camp at Nindigully which put on a great show with live music and a great meal.

The big Falcon is going strong!!💪

Finish line tomorow, cannot wait!

Day 5 travels… left Silverton, not without a picture in front of the Mad Max museum, unfortunately wasn’t open, but still very cool!

Highway liaison to Wilcannia before turning off back on to dirt towards the Tilpa Hotel, which has interesting wall art!

Quick schooey at Tilpa then onto The Shindys Inn at Louth, for another schooner!

Finish line today is Bourke Showgrounds.

Day 4 adventures!

Left Copley for a beer at the Prairie Hotel, then on into the Flinders Rangers to Blinman to meet some more of the Hub 2 crew!

Then twisty dusty roads right through to Yunta, highway to Broken Hill, refill of team Aint no Zoom Zoom (fuel light failed to come on!) and campsite and beers at the Silverton Hotel!

Destination Tomorrow - Bourke

Day 3! Oodnadatta to Copley. Continued along the Oodnadatta track to Marree, corrugations were horrendous!

Highlights were William cr Hotel, Coward Springs, Lake Eyre, and some artistic sculptures. Got a Lake Eyre yacht club sticker for the tailgate of the Falcon from Marree, then onto Copley for a ripper sunset! 🌅

Day 2 saw us drive 710km from Yulara to Oodnadatta. First 501km was tar and then we hit the Oodnadatta track for 209km of dirt. And the zebra was in her element with the mud!!! 🦓🦓🦓

Day 2. Oodnadatta track corrugations were hectic for the first 100km or so. 😬

Epic day 1 travels. Followed the finke bike track for a bit, seen a meteorite crater, purchased some expensive petrol, viewed the great rock and having a drink and dinner at the field of lights!

Amazing people and amazing times.
