Don’t be seduced by vanity metrics.
Whilst others in your industry may have impressive followers - don’t be fooled into thinking that these ‘numbers’ are accurate. Just like photoshop - there are clever ways to ‘build’ your followers so that your reputation seems greater than it actually is.
Instead, keep doing you. Keep delivering your message, your truth. Add value where you can. Help where you’re need. Educate where it’s required and engage, engage, engage.
Your tribe may not be built overnight but at least you can count on their foundations being sturdy.
