🦜City of Moreton Bay is set to welcome around 40,000 migratory shorebirds as they arrive to rest after travelling thousands of kilometres across the globe.

Among them is the incredible Curlew Sandpiper, which makes a 13,000km journey from Siberia every year!

📍You’ll spot these feathered visitors roosting along the Pumicestone Passage but remember, they need peace and quiet to recover.

✅ Keep your distance from roosting and feeding sites
🐕 Keep dogs leashed (unless in a designated off-leash area)
📸 Enjoy them from afar because they lose valuable energy if disturbed
