At 6 years old it is time to switch from a child's toothpaste to an adult toothpaste. At this time your child will start to develop their first adult teeth, so it is important to have good habits, to serve them well into adulthood.

This week is Dental Health Week, this year the Australian Dental Association is focusing on children's oral health milestones, and educating parents and caregivers about the importance of maintaining oral hygiene for children, from birth into adulthood!

Good oral health habits should start as soon as the first tooth erupts!

Your regular dental check up is an important part of maintaining your oral health! We recommend 6 monthly dental appointments so that our dentists can assess your oral health and catch and treat any problems early!
