In just two weeks, Darebin audiences will be treated to an exclusive performance from amby downs, supporting loscil at Darebin Arts Centre!

amby downs is the musical pseudonym of interdisciplinary artist Tahlia Palmer. Experience their ambient/drone/noise soundscape project in a night of immersive audiovisual performance.

Darebin writers, this is your final call to submit a piece of work to be considered for publication in dSCRIBE 19, our annual literary magazine!

From our dSCRIBE 19 editor, Adalya Nash Hussein : “This year’s theme is ‘Point’. Point as in Power____. Point as in ‘It’s rude to ____’. Point as in ‘What is the ____ ?’.

We’re interested in writing that is purposeful, polemic and sharp (or at least textured). This theme is just a potential point of departure but it’s up to you to find the endpoint.”
