📚 Welcome Back for Term 3! 💙

We hope all of our families have enjoyed a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break. We can't wait to welcome our students back for an exciting Term 3 on Monday, 13 July.

As we prepare for the first day back, a few simple steps can help ensure a smooth start:
🎒 Pack school bags the night before.
💧 Fill drink bottles and have uniforms ready.
⏰ Allow plenty of time in the morning so students arrive settled and ready to learn.

⏰ Every Minute Counts

Being on time each day gives students the best possible start to their learning. Even arriving just five minutes late every day can result in approximately three full days of learning being missed across the school year. Small delays can quickly add up, making it harder for students to settle into their learning and classroom routines.

School start times:
🏫 Prep–Year 6
• Classrooms open: 8:20am
• Learning begins: 8:30am

🏫 Years 7–9
• Gates open: 8:30am
• Learning begins: 8:45am

🎉 Crazy Hair Day is Coming! 🎉

Get ready to finish Term 2 in Prep - 6 style at Saltwater College's Crazy Hair Day on Friday, 26 June! Whether you're creating a wild and colourful masterpiece, a soccer-inspired design, or something completely unique, we can't wait to see your creativity shine.

As we celebrate the last day of term, students are invited to join in the fun with a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going towards books for our new school library. 📚

We're also getting behind the Socceroos as they take on Paraguay at 12:00pm, with students encouraged to show their team spirit and enjoy the excitement of the FIFA World Cup together.

🏐 Congratulations to our Saltwater P–9 College Volleyball Team on an outstanding achievement at the 2026 Western Region Championships!

After a fantastic tournament showcasing skill, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship, our team finished as Western Region Runners-Up, narrowly falling to Altona College in a thrilling three-set final, with the deciding set ending 11–15.

Throughout the competition, our students represented the college with pride, resilience, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the court. Their efforts have firmly placed Saltwater P–9 College among the top volleyball schools in the Western Region.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students embodied our school values of Community, Respect, Honesty, Leadership, and Determination every step of the way.

On the 5th of June, our Year 8 volleyball teams also competed in their respective practice matches, demonstrating great effort and sportsmanship throughout the day.

The Girls B team played well and showed plenty of determination, but were ultimately unable to secure a win against their opponents.

The Girls A team delivered a strong performance, pushing their opponents to the limit with their competitive play and teamwork. Both teams represented the school with pride and gained valuable experience that will support their continued development throughout the season.
