It’s a lol news day when your client’s robot activation from BYD Quokka Day lands a full-page spread in Business News 🤖 We loved bringing “J” the AI robot into the entertainment mix — safe to say the crowd was completely obsessed and were desperate for selfies with him. And yes… I’ll be claiming full credit for the styling of J - made his Fashion on the Field runway appearance very fabulous. Well played !

Viva Italia! Spotted in Western Suburbs Weekly 🍇 PKF Italian Raceday brought the cultural energy to Ascot Racecourse — with delicious traditional Italian food, flowing wine, and roving entertainment lighting up the Italian Village. And on the track, Rope Them In lived up to its name, storming home in a thrilling finish to take out the Group 3 PKF-Roma Cup. 🇮🇹 🍝
BYD Quokka Day delivered - huge crowd, elite racing and an electric atmosphere at Ascot Racecourse and captured the colour beautifully 🐎✨
Jigsaw starred, scoring his seventh straight win in The $5M BYD Quokka, while Fashions on the Field, Jay the Ai robot and kept the energy high off the track! 🎶 well played,

Page 3 of The West Australian today for 🗞️ — boom!
For BYD Quokka Day at Ascot, I pitched the spectacular horse-drawn flag spectacle galloping down the straight ahead of WA’s biggest race. The West ran with Andrew Ritchie’s photos beautifully.
But here’s a little behind-the-scenes secret: we also captured some stunning sunrise + horses rearing photos that didn’t make the cut. That’s the magic (and the reality) of PR.
You pitch a story, you show up prepared, and then you hand over a full toolkit of angles and let the journalist find what speaks to them. Sometimes it’s the hero shot. Sometimes it’s the unexpected detail hiding in frame 47. But at least we had options!
Media relationships that last are built on making journalists’ jobs easier — variety, quality, and zero expectation about which angle lands.
Saturday is going to be as spectacular as this shoot was. See you trackside for BYD Quokka Day this wknd 🐎
