I'd like to remind everyone that there is still time to take advantage of Western Australia's Free Influenza Vaccine Program.
Until 30 June 2026, people aged 12 to 64 years who are not already eligible for a free flu vaccine under the National Immunisation Program can receive a free influenza vaccination from participating providers across WA.
The program is also available to people without a Medicare card and visitors travelling in Western Australia.
Influenza can cause serious illness and complications, particularly during the winter months. Getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family and the wider community.
Free vaccinations are available through participating GPs, community pharmacies, Aboriginal Medical Services, nurse practitioner clinics, community health immunisation clinics and other participating providers.
If you haven't had your flu shot yet this year, I encourage you to book in before the program ends on 30 June.
For more information, speak with your local healthcare provider or participating pharmacy.

We're giving customers more time to visit Driver and Vehicle Service Centres with new opening hours at four metro locations from 1 July 2026.
Cannington, City West, Mirrabooka and Success DVS Centres will open from 7.15am until 5pm weekdays, giving customers more flexibility to visit a centre before or after school or work.
That’s an extra hour and a half, Monday to Friday for our customers who need to visit a participating centre for transactions that require face-to face assistance.
