Colours! Just the beginning! Overlaying glazes can help you achieve incredible results and this is just a small taste of the possibilities. This is a glaze test pot. I have a base colour of white and have then overlayed various other glazes to see what effect they would have and I am so very pleased. But…. and this is a rather big BUT, what I had dreamed of and what actually happened when placed on my next experimental pot, blew my mind! Not only that, but it blew the minds of the incredible, wonderful, people at (they are such an amazing bunch of people who love and appreciate art!) I can’t wait to share the actual real ‘on pot’ test result with you. Then you can tell me what you think too. But for now, you get to see the “finished” “the bisque” with glaze application and then the “finished” because that is how I would like to see it. So here it is. Let me know if you have a favourite ‘overlayed’ colour. Super excited to see where this can take me, if it does actually take me anywhere. I guess time and feedback will tell on that one.
