Custom 338 Norma Magnum
This build used a Weatherby Mark V action as a base. The boltface was opened out to fit the 338 Norma Mag case and was fitted to 26" Lilja No.4 profile fluted barrel. A TGPR custom break was used to tame the light rifle which reduced recoil to approximately that of a .243 Win.
A Bell and Carlson stock was modified and bedded to ensure a perfect stress free fit.
The complete rifle with scope weighed 3.8kg.
Proof testing the rifle showed consistent 3 round groups between 1/4 and 1/2 MOA.
