We have created a GoFundMe to help with medical bills as we are currently caring for multiple pigeons with significant injuries, all requiring veterinary assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
One of our pigeons' surgeries cost $1,446.20 after undergoing fracture repair surgery on both legs. Thanks to veterinary intervention, she is now beginning the long road to recovery.
We are also caring for two pigeons with wing injuries that are awaiting veterinary assessment. One has an old wing fracture that appears to have healed incorrectly, while the other has a more recent open wing fracture. Both will require veterinary care and treatment planning to determine the best path forward.
With multiple injured birds in care at the same time, veterinary costs continue to rise. Every donation will help cover Consultations, diagnostics, medications, surgery, wound care, and rehabilitation, which add up quickly for a small, volunteer-run rescue.
Pigeons are often overlooked, yet they experience pain and suffering just like any other animal. These birds deserve the opportunity to heal safely and live comfortable lives.

Perth Pigeon Rescue 6 Month Review 🙌
Since the start of the year we have helped approximately 1,000 pigeons across Perth and regional Western Australia.
181 pigeons came into care, some needing treatment, rehabilitation and ongoing support.
108 of those pigeons found loving homes through our adoption program. Yay!
106 city pigeons, including 66 stringfoot cases were treated preventing ongoing suffering.
We also safely rehomed or assisted with the rehoming of over 700 pigeons from different surrender and abandonment cases.
On top of this, we spent countless hours answering messages, emails and phone calls from members of the public looking for help with injured birds, abandoned pigeons, lost racing pigeons and general pigeon related enquiries.
Our veterinary costs alone totalled $10,761 over the last six months with $1,700 still owing. Every dollar was paid by our volunteers and supporters. We were fortunate to raise $2,505 through our Wheatbelt Rescue GoFundMe, which helped ease some of the financial pressure.
We are a very small, very new rescue. Any donations of seed, medications and financial support makes an enormous difference and allows us to continue helping pigeons that would otherwise have nowhere to go.

Adopted- Mort: A handsome man looking for love and someone to dance for. He will eat from your hand aswell!
Cameron: A confident boy looking for his new forever home. Still working on tameness like the others 🙂
