We want to share an important update regarding Access Wellbeing Services (AWS).

Following careful consideration, Centrecare has made the decision to close AWS, with the business unit closing on 30 June 2026.

For over 30 years, AWS has been proud to support organisations and their people through meaningful, person‑centred care. We are sincerely grateful for the trust placed in us and the opportunity to be part of so many wellbeing journeys.

Our priority is to support our customers and their employees through this transition, with a strong focus on continuity of care. Services will continue in the coming months as part of a planned and responsible transition.

World Health Day is a timely reminder that health is more than just physical and wellbeing doesn’t sit in silos.
Stress, workload, financial pressure and life challenges don’t stay at home, and they don’t stay out of the workplace either.

Supporting health means looking at the whole person. Because when we invest in wellbeing early, we create healthier people, stronger teams and safer workplaces.

Today we celebrate Harmony Day, a nationwide recognition of Australia’s rich cultural diversity and the message that everyone belongs.

We see every day how inclusion, respect, and belonging strengthen not just communities, but workplaces as a whole. Harmony Day aligns deeply with our mission to support environments where people feel safe, valued, and heard, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background.

Wellbeing thrives in cultures built on understanding and acceptance. When people feel they belong, they flourish.

EAP is a short term counselling service focused on helping your employees achieve their goals.

In some instances, longer support may be required, and we will typically arrange a referral to an appropriate support.

On rare occasions, when a referral isn’t possible or a crisis is present, we may request up to 3 additional confidential sessions from the organisation. This is only done once per employee, unless exceptional circumstances arise (and always with the employee’s consent where names are requested).

Every organisation handles extensions differently, and we’re happy to tailor the process to each organisation’s preferences.

With the right support, every person has the chance to feel heard and supported.
