I invite you to bring awareness to the space in-between, the 'gap'
In music, it's not just about the notes being played and the harmonies created. The space between them, the gap. In a sound bath, after a bowl rings, there's this stretch of near-silence before the next strike.
It's easy to think that's just dead air. The unimportant part. But it's actually doing as much work as the sound itself.
That gap is where the body catches up.
Sound travels fast. Nervous systems don't. If you stack tone on tone with no breathing room, you get stimulation, not regulation.
The harmonics need silence around them the way a sentence needs punctuation. Without it, nothing actually lands. It's just noise.
We can transpose this to our everydayI invite you to bring awareness about the 'gap'

We can transpose this to our everyday lives too.
Creating sooo much busy-ness without the moments of silence. Stillness to consolidate.
It can take time to trust the silence enough to actually let it sit there. Turns out that's where people exhale. Where shoulders drop, the let go.
During the stillness and quiet after.
So we can journey on the waves of sound and vibration....the ebb and flow.
Where in your own life are you skipping the gap?
