📢MITA Increase for commission-only salespersons from July 1, 2026.

Following the Fair Work Commission’s 2026 Annual Wage Review, which handed down a 4.75% increase to minimum award wage rates effective from the first full pay period on or after July 1, 2026 - the MITA has been updated accordingly.

As of July 1, 2026, the MITA is $72,741.50 (125% of the rate of a Level 2 position under the Award). This compares to the previous MITA of $69,446 that applied from July 1, 2025.
