We are on the hunt for a superstar Practical Legal Trainee at our boutique family law firm. We are open to candidates seeking to undertake their trainee placement on a part-time or full-time basis.

The opportunity to remain at the firm at the conclusion of the placement will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking general legal research across a broad range of areas and provide general research advice to lawyers.

Drafting general Family Court documents to be used in the provision of legal advice.

Assist our legal professional staff in the conduct of a range of matters across family law and estate planning.

Accompanying our solicitors to Family Court hearings.

Assisting our solicitors to draft legal documentation, including case law research.

Undertaking general administrative duties.

Key skills required:

Highly motivated, and willing to grow within the practice.

Exceptional attention to detail, with a can do attitude.

Ability to learn new information and systems quickly.

A high level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Initiative to undertake general tasks without prompting.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing demands whilst maintaining professionalism and commitment to quality service.

A strong commitment to service excellence and be professionally presented.
