What an incredible week of learning, culture and community we've shared as we celebrated ๐๐€๐ˆ๐ƒ๐Ž๐‚ ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค at Hampton.

Students enthusiastically took part in a wide range of activities, including face painting, scratch art, contributing to a whole-school collaborative painting, food tasting, cooking workshops, creating a beautiful sand mural, watching the inspiring film ๐˜š๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ต ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ด, as well as beading and braiding workshops. It was wonderful to see so many students embracing the opportunity to learn, connect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Our celebrations concluded with a fantastic NAIDOC Assembly, featuring outstanding performances from our talented dancers and didgeridoo musicians.

A special highlight this year was seeing our boys perform in the dance group for the very first time. They have dedicated themselves to practising throughout the year, and their performance was something truly special. We couldn't be prouder of their commitment, courage and respect in sharing culture with our school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year's NAIDOC Week such a meaningful and memorable celebration. Together, we continue to honour and celebrate the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We had an amazing day at our Career Taster Program at North Metropolitan TAFE in Joondalup! Students had the opportunity to step inside a commercial kitchen, an experience very different from our usual school kitchens.

They explored new ingredients and flavours, diving into Thai cuisine as we created a delicious Thai green curry. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that gave students a real insight into the hospitality industry.

Students also enjoyed a tour of the impressive kitchens, restaurant, and facilities. A huge thank you to North Metro TAFE for such a delicious and inspiring day!
