Its almost time to get back to work and after the family time and fun trails exploring our great country im sure many of us are loathing our decisions to go down that particular track - while fun at the time - results in hours and hours of cleaning and detailing .
I love my American trucks but the general width of most of our standard vehicles in Australia means going down them gets your vehicle extra scratched and damaged .
I didnt puchase an F150 Raptor to sit it on the mantle piece and look at it , but jeez i have created a job for myself this time .
We explored the trail from Grey to wedge island approx 2 hours North of Perth , awesome trails through the Dunes but if your a bit precious with your vehicle its maybe a bit hard on your duco in places - as i said with an F150 extra hard .
All in all we had a fantastic time staying in Green head Caravan Park for a week and look forward to the next trip .
The compound i have shown in the pics works wonders for 4x4 pin striping , some before and after shots in there, it would work great on caravans and campers too , its expensive at $64 a bottle but it works !
This was also a good trip to test out the off grid system i fitted and finished only a few months back , since we were on an unpowered site and running the 3000watt inverter the whole time it was interesting to see how the 5x215 watt victron solar panels charged up the 600a/h lithium bank - everything worked flawless and we ran the AC a few times together with any 240 volt appliances we wanted , batteries were back to 100% by midday every day , you can see one of the higher readings i saw over the 5 days we were there .
