School Ball dress

Not long now till we see the next beautiful Bride married to her best friend.. Malanie and Jack are the most gorgeous couple and are filled with excitement.. Family and friends are arriving from across the globe for their Dec 3rd wedding and I have just (last night) finished working on her elegant, demure gown. A collaborative design with Malanie and myself has produced a dress that uniquely reflects this young lady's inner charm and natural beauty.
Of course I won't be revealing too much before the big day but here are a couple of snaps of the process.

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a young lady who was unable to find what she was looking for in a ball dress. I was emailed the below pic and loved the modern design. After a brief consultation we decided to spice up the design with two hidden high front splits in the lining and the ability to separate the underskirt from the chiffon overlay. Creating two skirts, allows for flexibility in the future as well as the option to remove the overlay when the dance floor beckons. Lining the front of the bodice with a n**e material highlighted the beautiful lace while leaving the back beautiful and bare. I was very happy with he result!
