Existing structures can limit how equipment is installed.

Installing poles on existing handrails or structures often raises concerns about drilling into the structure.

Drilling can damage protective coatings, increase corrosion risk, and add time through approvals and rework.

A no-drill mounting approach allows poles to be installed using existing handrail or stanchion fixings, without drilling into the structure.

This helps preserve structural integrity and simplifies installation in industrial and regulated environments.

When a multi-storey plant module moves through the streets of Geelong to a major refinery, there are a thousand things that need to go right.

Last year, Doolan's Heavy Haulage did exactly that, moving a massive plant module through the Port Geelong precinct to a major fuel refinery in Victoria, Australia. The planning, precision and coordination involved in moving something of this scale through an active industrial corridor is extraordinary.

If you look closely at the photos you'll see Swivelpole™ poles installed along the handrails and across the top of the module itself, specified as part of the build and now in service at one of Australia's most demanding industrial environments. In a refinery setting, lowering light poles need to perform day in and day out without fail.
