Contract Diesel

A position have opened for a fitter within Contract Diesel for ongoing projects in Perth.

$45ph starting with company ute or truck
Workshop and field work throughout the metro area
Working on a variety of equipment from civil, mining, on-highway, cranes, marine and genset's

Requirements
- Qualified HD fitter with 2 years post trade preferred
- Experience with on-highway and earth moving
- Current drivers license and HR
- Police clearance
- Good work ethic
- Willing to do overtime

Customer with a C12 came in with coolant leaking into the engine oil, diagnosed no #3 liner to be leaking but as soon as we removed the head we opened a nest of other issues. The head had cracks in between every set of exhaust valves and debris marks throughout the tops of the pistons. Engine was overdue for a rebuild so we stripped and inspected liner projection's and put a full set of cylinder liners, pistons, new head, bearing roll and new water pump.
