✨ "Am I good enough for this workshop?"
It's one of the most common questions I receive.
And my answer is yes!
You don't need years of experience, an art degree, or a portfolio full of paintings. You simply need a willingness to learn.
This workshop has been designed with plenty of one-on-one guidance throughout the three days. Many students surprise themselves with what's possible when given the right support and structure.

What took me years to learn is exactly what I now share with painters in the studio.
Not shortcuts.
Not tricks.
A practical understanding of how form, light, colour and observation work together to create a convincing portrait.
This workshop is designed to give you the foundations I wish I'd been taught earlier.
The goal isn't simply to copy a photograph, but understand what you're seeing and learn how to translate it into paint.
