🤷‍♀️ Choosing shoes can be tough, which ones are right for me? which shoes offer the most support? If your struggling with this common dilemma then here are our top 4 tips for selecting a supportive shoe:
✅ Make sure the heel counter or back of the shoe is firm. If it is too flexible it won’t offer you the support you need.
✅ Make sure the shoe does not bend in half. If you hold the back of the shoe and bend the toe area up - if the shoe folds in half then this is a big no no!
✅ The shoe should bend at the toe area only to allow you to push off as you are walking.
✅ The shoe must have retainers, such as laces, elastic or velcro to hold your foot in the shoe or else the little muscles have to work harder to keep your foot inside the shoe 👟 🏃‍♀️🤼‍♀️🛷🤾‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🚴‍♂️🧗‍♀️
