What if one of the biggest decisions about your future in Australia was made without anyone ever hearing your side of the story?

That's becoming a reality for many students lodging a student visa refusal appeal.

From June 2026, most student visa refusal reviews at the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) are expected to be decided without an oral hearing.

In many cases, the Tribunal Member may never meet you or ask you questions directly. Instead, your case could be decided primarily on your written submissions.

Think about that for a moment.

A student visa refusal appeal is no longer just about disagreeing with the Department's decision. It's about presenting a clear, well-structured, evidence-based case that can stand on its own.

At education ONE Australia, our in-house Registered Migration Agents (RMAs) help students prepare strategic student visa refusal appeals, with carefully prepared written submissions and supporting evidence tailored to their case.

If you're considering lodging a student visa refusal appeal, don't risk taking the wrong step.

Get professional guidance early and understand your options before making your next move.

Student Visa Australia update 2026: Australia has increased the Student visa application fee from AU$2,000 to AU$2,500, effective 1 July 2026.

If you're planning to study in Australia, this is an update you'll want to know. Especially if you've been delaying your application.

The good news? Not everyone will pay the new fee.

Eligible ASEAN, Pacific Island, Timor-Leste, ELICOS, and Non-Award applicants may qualify for a reduced Student visa application fee of AU$2,050.

Do you think another Student visa fee increase is justified, or will it make studying in Australia even harder for international students?

Share your thoughts in the comments. We'd love to hear your perspective! 👇

Changed your course mid-way? You may need to EXTEND your student visa in Australia 🤔

It is not as complicated as you think IF you can clearly explain:
👉 Why your original course was not the right fit
👉 Why your new course makes more sense for you
👉 How it connects to your career goals

That is what a student visa extension in Australia really comes down to. Not just paperwork, but a genuine and logical study story.

At education ONE Australia, our Registered Migration Agents help international students put together stronger visa extension applications, so you can apply with confidence.

As an international student in Australia, you're allowed to work up to 48 hours per fortnight during study periods and unlimited hours during semester breaks and holidays.

And from 1 July 2026, Australia's minimum wage will increase to AU$26.44 per hour, giving students even more earning potential while studying!

Is this good news? 🤔 Let's look at the bigger picture.

At the same time, Australia has the world's highest student visa application fee (AU$2,000) and remains one of the most expensive countries for international students.

With higher earning opportunities but rising study costs, how do you view Australia as a study destination?

Comment "A" if Australia is still your top study destination.
Comment "B" if you're still weighing up whether Australia is the right choice for you 👇
