Padbury Community Kindergarten

As part of our learning about Aboriginal stories and culture, we listened to a rhyme about the Waugal (Rainbow Serpent), an important figure in Noongar culture.

Working together across both Kindergarten groups, the children collaborated to create a beautiful Rainbow Serpent collage artwork. This experience encouraged creativity, teamwork and meaningful discussions about storytelling and cultural perspectives.

We are proud to share this special collaborative artwork and celebrate the rich cultural learning experiences taking place in our Kindergarten.

We love having a bush tucker garden! We picked some Salt bush leaves and added them to our Damper.
