He acted like walking away was the easiest solution to every disagreement—like disappearing was easier than listening, like silence was a substitute for accountability.
Whenever things got tense or uncomfortable, instead of talking it out, he’d throw around lines like “I’m done” or “maybe we should end this.” Those words kept her constantly on edge—worried she’d lose him, worried she’d say the wrong thing, worried she was somehow too much.
It was never about solving anything.
It was about control.
Every threat to leave made her feel smaller, as if her emotions were the reason everything crumbled.
In time, those empty ultimatums hurt her more than any argument ever did.
She learned to shrink herself, to tiptoe around his moods, to swallow her pain just to keep him close.
But love isn’t supposed to feel like a countdown to abandonment, ready to explode at the slightest disagreement.
Love is meant to be patient, steady, willing to communicate—not ready to run at the first sign of discomfort.
And eventually, she understood: anyone who constantly threatens to walk away was never committed to stay.
So the next time he said he was leaving, she didn’t beg.
She let him go—because losing someone who uses love as leverage isn’t a loss.
It’s liberation.

Narcissists will do all to destroy you 🤍🪽
05/06/2025
He didn’t love you—he erased you.
You stopped speaking up to avoid his rage.
You started saying “I’m fine” to survive.
You got used to being dismissed, unappreciated, ignored—
And you trained yourself to say, “It’s okay,” just to keep the peace.
You began disappearing… one piece at a time.
Every time he put himself first,
Every time he twisted the truth,
Every time he made you the problem,
You shrank a little more.
Until the woman you were became a version of yourself
just gasping for air beneath the surface.
That’s what narcissistic abuse does.
It doesn’t leave bruises—it buries you quietly.
But hear me when I say this:
No man is worth losing yourself over.
No man deserves your silence, your sacrifice, or your soul.
You don’t owe loyalty to the one who tried to erase you.
You owe yourself rescue.
And if you’re reading this…
Maybe the only way to save your life
is to finally stop drowning in his.
