Nights felt endless. Little bodies curled into mine, nursing on demand, sleep always broken. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and doing my best to survive each sunrise. Everyone had advice. Everyone said I’d “spoil” them. But deep down, I trusted what OUR mothers have always known.

Keep them close.

My boys co-slept (safetly of course) with me until they were three, and they didn’t fully sleep through the night until four/five. It was chaotic. It was messy. It was all-consuming. But it was also magical! ✨️

Because in the dark, when the world was quiet, I felt their tiny breaths and heard their soft sighs. They felt safe. Loved. Home. It was right for us. Through it all My God gave me wisdom beyond my years.

Looking back now, those nights that once felt so long… weren’t long enough!

We didn’t do cry-it-out. We didn’t separate. We just slept together, heart to heart, in our own little bubble.

Motherhood asks so much of us. But those moments where love spills over and connection becomes everything… that’s what shapes them. And that’s what stays forever.

I wouldn’t trade a second of it. Not one.

Id love to hear your ideas below.
