Wrinkle relaxants misconceptions #1

Wrinkle relaxants don’t work straight away! ✨ When I inject you at your appointment, you will NOT see an improvement later that night 🚫 The medicine takes a little while to kick in, but you can expect the strongest and full results kick in around the 2 week mark ✌🏼

After the 2 week peak, the wrinkle relaxants will do its thing over the 3-4 months 😎 Your muscles should be completely relaxed 😌

Over the next 2-4 months, the muscle contractions will very weakly and slowly start coming back over the drug life duration 📅 which is why someone’s after 8-10 weeks, you might start to notice slight movement (that’s very normal!)

It is a very common misconception to think that the muscle contractions will be frozen for 3-4 months and instantly *click* overnight on the end of the 3rd month, you’ll have all the lines/wrinkles/movement back! 😅

It’s important to let the full contractions of your muscles to come back before your next wrinkle relaxants appointment 😘
