Unity Training Services

The Unity Training Services 2022 training schedule from January to June has been released.

We offer the Commonwealth HSR 5 day training for new Reps and 1 day Refreshers for trained HSRs. Unity Training is one of very few RTOs that offer NOPSEMA training for new Reps in offshore Oil and Gas and 1 day NOPSEMA Refreshers for trained Reps.

With the new State WHS Act 2020 being enacted in March 2022, Unity Training will offer full 5 day State WHS training for newly elected HSRs and 1 day State WHS Refresher training when advised by the Work Health and Safety Commission.

State Introductory Occupational Safety and Health Representative Training

This 5 Day course is for newly elected OSH Rep’s under the OSH Act 1984. Current legislation.

Training for HSRs with the new WHS Act and Regs will be announced at a later date.

This 5 Day ACTU course is for newly elected HSR’s under the Comcare WHS Act.

As a HSR, you are entitled to attend training with a provider of your choice, in consultation with your Person Conducting the Business undertaking (PCBU).

Commonwealth HSR Refresher Courses (1 Day)

Cost $310 incl GST

This is a one day ACTU refresher course that HSR’s are entitled to attend every 12 months.

As a HSR, you are entitled to attend training with a provider of your choice, in consultation with your Person Conducting the Business undertaking (PCBU).

NOPSEMA (3-5 day)

Cost $1195 incl GST

Unity Training now offers a fully accredited, fully comprehensive NOPSEMA course developed for HSRs working in the Oil and Gas industry with an emphasis on the offshore working environment and legislation. This course may run from 3 to 5 days.

Unity Training Services have introduced information sessions on the new Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA).

Health and Safety Representatives or HSR's play an important role in the improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in workplaces.

Unity Training have designed the information sessions into a 3 hour seminar to make sure managers, supervisors and staff are prepared for when the new Act and Regulations arrive. The sessions start from 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm.
