Meet the Team! Introducing.. Michaela Speering our Head of Estate Planning.

Michaela began her career in generalist law firm gaining experience in family law, criminal law and civil litigation. Since joining Culshaw Miller in 2010, Michaela has focused her practice in the areas of Wills, estates, and guardianship law.

Michaela obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Murdoch University. She is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Partitioners (STEP) and has been a committee member of the WA Law Society’s Elder Law and Succession Committee since 2016.

Michaela is passionate about helping people to understand the importance of planning for the future and assisting clients to put in place a valid Will, valid enduring powers of attorney, enduring powers of guardianship and advance health directives.

Michaela’s practice also includes acting for Executors and Administrators of deceased estates, disputed estates and parties to Family Provision Act claims.

Michaela works with private clients and advisors to advise on estate planning and deceased estate administration issues.
