It’s fantastic to have Dr Dani Crosby back with her scrubs on! 💙🐴

After returning from maternity leave just over a month ago, Dr Dani has slipped straight back into doing what she does best—leading our surgical team and providing exceptional care for our equine patients.

This photo captures one of our recent standing sinus surgeries. Many sinus procedures can be performed with the horse standing under heavy sedation and local anaesthesia, avoiding the need for a general anaesthetic while still allowing excellent visualisation and access to the sinuses using specialised endoscopic equipment.

Procedures like this are a real team effort. From preparing equipment, to monitoring the patient, assisting with the surgery and operating the endoscope, every member of the team plays an important role in achieving the best possible outcome.

We’re so pleased to have Dani back with the team, sharing her expertise and leading cases like this once again.

🐴❤️ Team Terrance ❤️🐴

A recent stable-side discussion about the best plan for our very special patient, Terrance.

Providing the best care takes a team effort, and we’re fortunate to have such a dedicated group of vets and nurses working together to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient.

Special patients like Terrance remind us just how important collaboration is in equine veterinary care. ❤️
